Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Application

Your complete scholarship application will be automatically considered by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF). In addition, it will also be considered by several other organizations if you meet their scholarship requirements. So, a complete application may give you the opportunity to compete for several different scholarship awards. Please see the website for specific requirements for each organization's awards.

Before you begin: A complete application requires:
  • This form with all required fields (designated with an *) completed.
  • A 200 word (about 1 page) personal story about your career goals and plans.
  • Your high school transcript or GED Certificate.
    • We will accept copies of all school transcripts.
    • If you have not finished high school, a partial high school transcript is acceptable.
  • If you're already in a post-secondary school, submit BOTH your high school transcript and your post-secondary school transcript.
  • At least one reference letter. Some organizations require more than one.
  • All these documents can be attached to this form or mailed to the Scholarship Committee at the address located at the bottom of this form.
  • Minnesota Students: Apply here, but you must also submit a verification form from your college automotive instructor/advisor in addition to a reference letter (from someone other than your automotive teacher) to be considered for the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota, AASP-MN, scholarships. Minnesota students should also submit their school transcripts to qualify for UAF and other organization scholarships.
  • Students affiliated with AutoValue, Automotive Parts Associates, Bumper to Bumper, Federated Car Care Centers, or Pronto Auto Service Centers: Apply here, but you must also submit an affiliation form to your group. Attach a scanned copy of the form to your application, or fax or mail it to your group's headquarters at the address on your group’s form.
Note: Scholarships will only be awarded for classes and admissions starting after June 1st, 2024. We do not award scholarships for students who are graduating this spring and their programs are complete.

Please look over the whole application form and collect the information you'll need before you begin.

Documents: Scan and attach your school transcript(s), reference letter(s) and any other documents. We prefer .doc or .docx documents or .pdf Adobe file formats over jpegs. If you do not have access to a scanner, you may mail these documents to the address at the end of the application.

You can start the application process and finish it at a later date by clicking on the "Save and Exit Application" button at the end of the form, and then using your email and password to access your file again.

You may continue to update your application until the deadline or until it is assigned to reviewers.

All materials must be at Scholarship Committee by March 31, 2024 for consideration for any of the 2024 scholarships.

Incomplete applications will NOT be considered for ANY awards.
